THE AMELIA ISLAND ARTISTS WORKSHOP, LLC TERMS OF ENROLLMENT
By signing and paying your deposit you agree to additional terms:
1. Cancellation Policy: Deposits are applied as pre-payment of tuition and are non refundable for any reason. All model fees and instructor fees are the responsibility of the student and are paid on the first day of class. The student pays for their own meals, lodging and transportation. All cancellations must be made in writing and received prior to 45 days before the start of the workshop. Prior to 45 days before the start of a workshop, the paid fees will be returned to the student minus the nonrefundable deposit. For cancellations of less than 45 days notice, any fees paid for the workshop are nonrefundable. We are not responsible for issuing refunds or credits for workshops missed by the student due to illness, emergencies, airplane delays, transportation delays or events beyond our control. If a workshop is canceled by us, your money will be promptly refunded. If you have any questions about these policies please feel free to give us a call.
2. Accommodations, Meals and Lodging: The student is responsible for their accommodations meals and lodging. We will provide you with a list of hotels and suggestions upon registration. We sometimes have special rates for our students and will notify you of these rates.
3. Models, Supplies and Equipment: You will be sent a supply list upon receipt of your registration form. It is important that you bring everything you need for class. The closest art supply store is twenty minutes away and the fine art supply store is 45 minutes away. For outdoor painting workshops, a folding stool, field easel, a sun hat, and walking shoes are highly recommended. For indoor painting workshops, there may be an additional model fee or the instructor might require additional purchases from the instructor. You may ship your supplies ahead of time to us if necessary; we recommend that you bring your supplies with you. However, we will not be responsible for tracking lost items if they do not arrive in time. There are shipping services in town that you can use for shipping supplies home if you wish. We do not provide that service.

4. Travel Directions: Fernandina Beach is located 20 minutes northeast of the Jacksonville Airport on Route A1A (State Road 200). You may rent a car or hire a taxi. Some of the hotels have free taxi service to their hotels. Complete travel directions will be sent with your registration confirmation.
5. Your Skill Level: Please keep in mind as you choose your classes.
*Beginner: student has limited experience in the medium and subject matter taught and has basic skills.
*Intermediate: student has knowledge of the basic elements, such as design, value, edges, color, form and texture and prior experience working in the medium taught in the class; and draws well.
*Advanced: student is confident working in the medium, with a high level of competence.

From: The Jacksonville Airport :
- Start out going Southwest on Yankee Clipper Dr. toward Thomas Imeson Ave. for 0.6 miles.
- Stay Straight to go on to Dixie Clipper Dr. for 1.0 miles.
- Dixie Clipper Drive becomes Fl -102E. for 1.6 miles.
- Turn Left on to Ramp. For 0.3 miles.
- Merge on to Interstate 95 for 9.1 miles.
- Take the SR200/SRA1A exit 373 toward Fernandina Beach for 0.4 miles.
- Merge on to FL-200 E/FL-A1A N toward Yulee/Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach for 12.2 miles cross the Bridge over the intercoastal waterway to the Island. Make no turns.
- AIA BECOMES 8th Street. Stay on 8th Street another 3-4 miles until you reach Centre Street. Make a left on Centre Street.
- Make a left on 3rd Street and at the corner of Ash and Third is the Amelia San Jon Gallery, 218A Ash Street. The Hampton Inn is at the corner of 2nd and Ash Street.
From the South via Florida:
- Interstate 95 North.
- Take the SR200/SRA1A Exit 373 toward Fernandina Beach for 0.4 miles.
- Merge on to FL-200 E/FL-A1A N toward Yulee/Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach for 12.2 miles cross the Bridge over the intercoastal waterway to the Island. Make no turns.
- AIA BECOMES 8th Street. Stay on 8th Street another 3-4 miles until you reach Centre Street. Make a left on Centre Street. Make a left on 3rd Street and at the corner of Ash and Third is the Amelia San Jon Gallery, 218A Ash Street. The Hampton Inn is at the corner of 2nd and Ash Street.
From the North via Georgia:
Interstate 95 South, after you enter Florida take:
- Exit 380 US17S toward Yulee for 0.4 miles.
- Turn Left on to US-17S/FL5S for 7.1 miles.
- Turn left on to Fl-200E/FL-A1A North/Buccaneer Trail toward Amelia Island for approximately 10 miles, cross the Bridge over the intercoastal waterway to the Island. Make no turns.
- AIA BECOMES 8th Street. Stay on 8th Street another 3-4 miles until you reach Centre Street. Make a left on Centre Street. Make a left on 3rd Street and at the corner of Ash and Third is the Amelia San Jon Gallery, 218A Ash Street. The Hampton Inn is at the corner of 2nd and Ash Street.
